ABOUT MATT... 

Holding an Honors degree in Biokinetics and nearly a decade working in Sport and Exercise Science, Matt found himself immersed in the company of talented individuals, witnessing their unwavering dedication. Having always had a competitive nature and drive to compete at a higher level, a decision was made mid-2022 to pursue a career as a triathlete in the longer 70,3 distance of the discipline. 

Based in Port Elizabeth, Matt has set himself up for the best opportunity to train and immersed himself with an inspiring support team and environment that fosters growth and excellence. With a number of “age group" podiums and titles to his name already, Matt is relishing the opportunity to line up among the “Elite” category.
